Lesbian mom asks Chick-fil-A President to dinner

Marci Alt, a lesbian mother of two from Atlanta, has launched a Change.org petition urging Chick-fil-A President and COO Dan Cathy to meet with her family and have a conversation over dinner about family and faith.

“I hope Mr. Cathy will join my family for dinner, where we can share a respectful dialogue about our faith, work, and families here in Georgia,” said Alt. “Mr. Cathy has his opinion, but he should hear from us and from fellow Christians who disagree.”

Alt’s Change.org petition has collected more than 20,000 signatures since it launched.
