Proud moms cheer for L.A. Kings rookie Jaret Anderson-Dolan

Jaret Anderson-Dolan is only 19 and he’s a member of the L.A. Kings hockey team. He gives all the credit to his moms, Fran and Nancy.

“They were both crying,” Anderson-Dolan told the L.A. Times after he called his moms and said he made the opening day roster. “Obviously they’re proud of me. They’ve worked incredibly hard to help me get to this point. … They obviously have a big part in getting me here.”

The Anderson-Dolans became a special story at last year’s draft because Jaret and his brother, Dorian, were raised by two moms. Jaret has actively embraced the LGBTQ community.
