The importance of foster care and adoption
Samaritas is a non-profit in Michigan, with many different programs and services geared towards helping those in need. It’s the largest private foster care agency in Michigan. Recently, Samaritas shot a web series which featured foster parents from Grand Rapids who also happen to be a same-sex couple.
In the three part series, Jeffery Rundhaug and Brian Dempkey talk about the importance of foster care and adoption and share their experiences of what it’s like to navigate Michigan’s foster care system as a same-sex couple.
