Washington state: Marriage licenses available at midnight December 6

“I don’t want couples to wait a minute longer than legally necessary to get the rights that voters have recognized,” said King County Executive Dow Constantine, who will sign the first marriage licenses.

Eight municipal judges will donate their time to marry couples on Dec. 9, after the couples have waited three mandatory days before exchanging vows.
