Mother celebrates Gay Pride with Pentagon while battling terminal cancer

Army Chief Warrant Officer Charlie Morgan (47) served her country for the past 17 years, and the repeal of DADT happened just in time for her as she battles terminal breast cancer. DADT left her afraid that when she was gone, her wife and young daughter would not be recognized by the army. Also, for the first time, she will be able to celebrate Gay Pride Month openly alongside her peers. Morgan will join the Pentagon on June 26, when the military will pay homage the LGBT community of service members.
