Actor Colin Farrell and brother fighting homophobia

Colin Farrell has joined forces with his gay brother to help fight homophobia in Ireland. Colin said he has seen homophobic attacks against his own brother, Eamon. “Each individual, as a member of his and her community, must Stand Up! in the face of this appalling brutality that plagues our schools,” Farrell said in a statement. Farrell has endorsed Stand Up!, a campaign launched last week by BeLonG To, an Irish LGBT youth organization.to end gay bullying in the country. BeLonG To’s Founding Director, Michael Barron, has praised the actor for taking this strong stand, reportedly saying: ”Eamon and Colin Farrell are fantastic advocates for LGBT young people and their families.”
