Gay Pride Flag is flown on Federal Reserve Bank

President Barack Obama declared June 2011 Gay Pride month; and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Virginia will fly the Gay Pride rainbow flag all month long in honor of Gay Rights. It flies this month underneath the American flag. Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond CEO Sally Green told Richmond.com that the organization is “flying the Pride flag as an example of our commitment to values of acceptance and inclusion.” Senator Donald McEachin says, “I applaud them for doing this because it shows diversity. Other companies should do the same.”
