Chely Wright’s ‘LIKE ME Organization’

Country musician Chely Wright recently founded The LIKE ME® Organization, which will work to prevent bullying and teen suicide. Ms. Wright serves as spokesperson.

The Organization’s website provides a message board for those who wish to post a question and receive a reply from the LGBT community, and provides links to LGBT education and health resources.

Chely brought together friends, family, fans, and supporters to build an organization to provide assistance, resources, and education. The site posts anonymous Personal Stories for those who wish to read and find a similar story. Whether you are gay or straight, you can post your own personal story.

Chely Wright published her memoir, “Like Me” in 2010 to tell her coming-out story, and she decided to support the GLBT community.
