Men Having Babies 2010: What happened at the seminar?

John Weltman (pictured), president and founder of Circle Surrogacy, spoke at the Men Having Babies seminar in September 2010. John was one of several speakers. He presented about the role agencies have in arranging surrogacies. He explained the differences between traditional and gestational surrogacy, how agencies screen and match surrogates and donors with intended parents, the time line and costs of the process, and the difference between known and unknown donors. He also spoke about insurance issues for gestational surrogacy.

His presentation was part of the sixth annual “Men Having Babies” seminar, hosted by Center Kids, the family program of the New York LGBT Community Center. The panel was moderated by Terry Boggis, the director of Center Kids.
