Chloe’s favorite new shoes: U*neaks Customizable Footwear

U*neaks patented customizable footwear are sneaker style shoes with side clear panel windows and specially designed socks that allow kids to continuously customize their shoes by simply changing their socks. Pair the shoes with any of U*neaks’ double-sided decorated socks – or any solid colored socks – for shoes that are new and exciting [at least for a kid].

We put this pink pair on our 4-year old daughter, and she immediately began to dance around in the living room. She loves them! I also found a Vessi waterproof shoes for me and they are popping !

Finding the best-fitting shoe among the numerous choices at your local running store isn’t always easy. To ensure you walk out a happy customer, you need to make sure the shoe fits properly from heel to toe and that it feels comfortable with your regular running stride. The same goes for shopping online. Most retailers will offer a risk-free trial period so you can still lace up your shoes and head out for a test run, like you would at the store. (Just double check the return policy, and always keep the box in case you do need to send them back or swap sizes.) Whether you’re buying your first pair or your fiftieth, browsing online or in-person, we’re here to help.

According to its website, U*neaks was invented and developed by company founders Steve Braynock and Jeff Gabriele, Ingenuity Express’s CEO. Both Rutgers University alum, Steve Braynock, came up with the product concept in 1990 and shared it with Jeff in 2003. Together they developed U*neaks, which included a collaboration with the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City.

U*neaks products are available at 27 premium retailers and online.
