Men Having Babies: The annual seminar helping create families through surrogacy

The Center [New York City’s LGBT community center], is sponsoring it’s fourth annual seminar called Men Having Babies on September 14, 2008. The conference is about biological parenting for gay men – and it’s hosted by Center Kids, the Center’s family program for LGBT parents and their children.

Men Having Babies will include a panel with legal, medical, and practical expert advice – along with personal stories from parents and a surrogate. In addition to a general overview of surrogacy options, this year the panel will also be addressing the rising costs of surrogacy, and effective strategies to reduce or control these costs.

The event is co-sponsored by Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey, Circle Surrogacy, and Growing Generations – organizations that have been helping gay couples and singles to have children through surrogacy and/or IVF for more than a decade.

An exhibition space will also be available with representatives from additional agencies and organizations who provide services and support for gay and lesbians who want to have babies. Learn about reproductive medicine, parenting law, surrogacy, and finance.
