Straight For Equality. Friends of the gay community join together to support our families.

Parents Families and Friends of Gay and Lesbians – PFLAG – has started an outreach program designed to unify our straight supporters. Straight for Equality is a U.S. outreach and education project designed to empower straight people in advocating for GLBT people in their homes, workplaces, and communities.

The program hopes to solidify an existing pool of fair-minded people and build a network of support among straight allies who may have never considered aligning themselves with GLBT rights.

Straight for Equality will help underscore the importance of simple, everyday contributions, and provide simple tools to create change. Members will become effective, engaged allies.
