      We are Mike and Chad - we're a gay couple in Boise who have been together four years now. We're both divorced men with shared custody of our children. Between us we have four children (three sons 19,13 & 10 years old and an 8 year old daughter). Our children are with us three and four days each week. We have what we consider to be a fairly "normal" family life (if there is such a thing) and our kids are involved in all the usual activities. We live in a comfortable home in a nice neighborhood and try to provide a stable and loving environment for our family. What's lacking in our lives is the type of friendship and support that can only come from others who are living through a similar reality. Gay parenting provides a unique perspective on Idaho family life.
