My partner and I have been together for over 2 years now. We have 3 children (my biological kiddos) from my previous marriage - they are 15, 10 and 8. We started trying to have a baby last June and got pregnant on our first try of insemination from a donor friend. Unfortunately I miscarried shortly after I had to have an emergency back surgery. After that I had another emergency surgery a month later - and numerous complications - a saddlebag pulmonary embolism, and blood clots in both of my legs. I have been healing and slowly getting better - and now finally off of the Blood thinners and given a clean bill of health, and the go ahead of all my Drs. to start trying to conceive again :) We are planning a comittment ceremony in August. We are all very excited about adding another addition to our family :)
