I'm a foster (and eventually adoptive) parent in Denver, CO. I've done some respite here and there working myself up to this massive change, and have also some temporary placements. I am single, and although the thought of being a single parent scares me immensely, as with all things, I think the rewards will be proportional to the risk. With the foster placements I've had, I've discovered I am up to the task.
