ProudParenting members - Happy 2 B moms - bring autism to our attention in a recent post.

The Orange County moms, to 2 1/2-year old Eric [pictured], write:

Today, 1 in 150 children are diagnosed with autism, making it more common than pediatric cancer, diabetes, and AIDS combined. It occurs in all racial, ethnic, and social groups and is four times more likely to strike boys than girls.

ProudParenting.com member - dagnarus75 - has been blogging for us for over a year, and his latest post has opened our eyes to a disturbing development that seems like it could only take place in Wasilla Alaska. But it hasn't.

In an April 13th piece, titled Boycott Amazon, dagnarus75 writes:

ProudParenting bloggers - mikeandmichael [pictured] - have successfully adopted two children, but their journey has not necessarily been an easy one.

One of their recent blog posts describes a major bump-in-the-road for the couple, and they share some "red flags" to watch for during the adoption process.

ProudParenting.com blogger - Carrie Smith - is a writer who exposes a funny side to lesbian and gay parenting. Carrie examines all corners of this new frontier in her blog called Way Out Parenting.

At some point, each of us has questioned our ability to be good parents. One the first posts on the Way Out Parenting blog sheds light on that little flame of doubt in all of us. From her April 13th post:
