Here's a complete list (so far) of U.S. mayors who support Freedom to Marry. The statement the group signed includes: "As mayors of great American cities, we proudly stand together in support of the freedom of same-sex couples to marry. We personally know many gay and lesbian people living in our cities who are in committed, loving relationships, who are active participants in the civic life of our communities, and who deserve to be able to marry the person with whom they share their life..."
The Los Angeles Gay Pride 2011 takes place from June 10 to June 12 featuring several performances, shows, and parties. Oh, and a parade. This year it will be 41st anniversary of the LA Gay Pride making it one of the oldest gay events in the world. The 3 day event will begin with the Dyke March and Purple Party which will take place on Friday June 10 on San Vicente Boulevard. There will be free party that will start around 5pm until midnight.
The Pop Luck Club, a non-profit organization that supports gay fathers throughout Southern California hopes to raise awareness, support and understanding for gay dads and their families with the launch of its “Raise a Child” ad campaign. The campaign was created to help dads and prospective dads as they explore the many routes to creating families, including surrogacy, fostering and adoption. The campaign includes radio PSAs and bus shelter ads featuring family portraits of its members.
Grand Marshals of the LA Gay Pride Parade - Sharon and Kelly Osbourne [pictured] - fought back when they passed an anti-gay group of protesters at the 40th annual Parade in Hollywood. A group of homophobes approached Sharon and Kelly's float and started yelling profanities.
Sharon scolded the protesters, shouting: 'You should be ashamed of yourselves!' Then Kelly took to the mic, leading the crowd of GLBT supporters into chanting: 'God loves gays!' Pro-gay chanting got so loud that it drowned out the protesters - who left defeated.
KTLA.com reports that California Cryobank announced Tuesday that it has started posting photos of celebrities who resemble their donors to give prospective clients a better idea of what their potential offspring might look like.

According to BBC News, The LA Fertility Institutes expects a trait-selected baby to be born next year. The clinic also offers sex selection.
