Rosie O'Donnell and HBO offer an important documentary airing January 31 at 7PM, called A Family is a Family is a Family: A Rosie O’Donnell Celebration.
In the documentary, children of various families offer their insights about what being a family means to them.
Rosie O'Donnell, who hosts a live variety special, "Rosie Live," next week for NBC, feels the economic and political climate is perfect for the revival of the variety show.
"The economy has made it so that people are staying at home more, so we're going to give people an hour to forget about their troubles," O'Donnell told reporters in a conference call Wednesday.
Variety is reporting that NBC will air "Rosie’s Variety Show" live from New York on the night before Thanksgiving - Nov. 26 - at 8 p.m. The special, which has been in the works for months, is believed to be the precursor to a regular variety show hosted by O’Donnell that would start in the new year.
The hourlong event will include celebrity guests, musical acts, and comedy skits.
