Just found out that we are not pregnant after the last insemination. Tried very hard to not get our hopes up about it, and to not be hyper aware of everything happening with my body, and that it might be a sign that I was pregnant...wow was that ever hard! We are both a little sad about it not taking, but we will keep trying. So here I go again with all the charting, pee sticks, etc... Was just not meant to be for whatever reason this time around, hopefully it will be soon :)

Second Story Press will be giving away copies of their picture book "Mom and Mum Are Getting Married!" to librarians at this year's American Library Association Conference on Saturday, June 28 - in Anaheim - in celebration of California's legalization of gay marriage.

Major news sources have announced that Jodie Foster [45] has split from her partner of 15 years - Cydney Bernard [55]. According to press reports, Foster left Bernard for screenwriter Cindy Mort [41].

Mort and Foster [pictured] got to know each other while filming "The Brave One", which was written by Mort.

At first, the couple struggled with the options available to them. They talked about adoption versus insemination, then decided on insemination. But the decision came after much processing of the fears that can arise during the decision-making process.
