Here's an odd memoir of growing up gay with a gay parent: Alison Bechdel's "Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic" (Mariner,$13.95).
The Seattle Times says it's a heavy, sometimes depressing book, but it gets a glowing review.
Time Magazine named "Fun Home" its 2006 book of the year, and it's been reissued in paperback.
