You are saying, duh, like someone needed to tell me that! I just read a wonderful post by Brenda Strong on the American Fertility Association website that is worth a read on living in the present. Happy Holidays!

IVF - Dr. Edwards, the British physiologist whose work led to the first "test-tube baby," won the 2010 Nobel prize for medicine or physiology, the prize-awarding institute said on Monday. It is an honor to see him being noticed by the committee for his contributions to so many families. As a board member of the American Fertility Association, which awarded him at our 2002 Kokopelli Ball with the first Robert Edwards Scientific Award, I am pleased to see that others are also beginning to notice.
Surrogacy & LGBT Issues - Great article posted today written by the AFA's own Ken Mosesian. In fact, it was posted on David Mixner's site, Live from Hell's Kitchen. In fact, David Mixner was once named the most powerful gay man in America by Newsweek, and his credits are extraordinary, as his site shows. With Prop 8 weighing heavy on our minds these days, it is important to remember how the lack of laws are affecting the children of LBGT couples - more to come on that next week.
Great article from the AFA on egg donation:
Embryo Dispute - Here is an udpated blog post on the embryo lawsuits via the AFA blog.
