Bye June has announced the premiere of their eagerly awaited new music video, “Shades of Purple.” The track from their album “My Life is an Independent Film” is available now at all leading digital retailers.
“Shades of Purple” is the first pop music video to employ the ancient art of shadowgraphy, or hand shadows. Bye June teamed with world-renowned shadowgrapher Mr. Sati Achath; Resulting in an innovative melding of state-of-the-art video technology and old world shadowgraphy, which created a unique and outstanding medium.

Regardless of your political affiliation, there is no denying that this past November’s election was historic. For the first time in our nation’s history, we had the choice of voting for an African-American presidential candidate and a female vice-presidential candidate. Future will tell if we made the right decision – I shall refrain from inserting my political opinion here!
The Prop. 8 Protest in Long Beach on November 7th began and ended at Redondo and Broadway. There were three parts of the march that were scheduled out for picking up more protestors who were coming to meet up and join the march. The third and last leg was the pickup point at Broadway and Alamitos which was where many news vans were parked and waiting. Police had the streets blocked off and my contact on the inside said they were not scheduled to march past their, rather speakers were meant to give a message.
