Ricky Martin has responded to an “ex-gay” report which aired on Univision's news magazine Qui y Ahora. In a tweet, Martin wrote: “It's inborn. The heterosexual is born or made? ;o.” (“@MariaESalinas Se nace. El heterosexual nace o se hace? ;o.”) The popular Spanish language program featured a young man who attempted to alter his sexuality via Exodus International, a ministry that believes homosexuality can and should be altered.

Busy gay dad, Ricky Martin, is in negotiations to guest star early next year on Glee, sources confirm to TVLine exclusively. Ricky will play what a Glee insider is calling “the hottest Spanish teacher ever in the history of Ohio.” And Daddy is ready to put on a show. His character will headline two big musical numbers in the episode, which is slated to air in late January.

Ricky Martin applied for Spanish citizenship so he can marry there. He wants to marry in Spain rather than a US state to pay tribute to prime minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero's support for gay rights. In an unusual move, the government did not ask him to renounce his Puerto Rican or US citizenship. Ricky's a father to three-year-old twins Matteo and Valentino, and has been in a relationship with Carlos for four years.

Ricky Martin recently spoke to the AP, and responded to a question about his timing for coming out. Martin doesn't want to raise his children around lies.

He says, "Everybody has to go through their own process, spiritual peace, to be able to stand in front of the mirror and look at yourself and start asking questions and say, 'This is you, and lift your head up high and be happy about it and be proud.'

Songwriter/producer Desmond Child (Kelly Clarkson, Aerosmith, Cher) is working with Ricky Martin on his next record. He tells BlackBookMag.com about Martin's process during the work: "I’m really excited about the music, the content, because since he’s come out it’s unleashed his creativity and the scope of what he can sing about and say and do.
