In Florida, we celebrate the end of legalized discrimination but most importantly the end of a system that denied children permanent loving homes with qualified parents. We must prepare to defend this adoption victory. Extremists have pledged to reinstate the ban, either through the legislature or through a constitutional ballot measure.
