Holiday Weekend

It turned out that our appointment had to be on Sunday so we were forced to cancel our plans to go away for the weekend. We had a nice weekend at home, and all was well despite the initial disappointment.

We did some shopping for items long needed and wished for, watched movies, played with the 4-legged kids and played the Wii. All in all it was a nice, relaxing, and quiet weekend.

One movie we watched was Premonition with Sandra Bullock (Sandra Bullock's character sees that her husband is going to be in a car accident before it happens). I really liked the movie but it's quite disturbing for someone like me who's always braced for bad things to happen. My partner has a long commute to work and I was up tossing and turning with worry about her going back to work today with images from the movie playing over and over in my head.

Thankfully, I just received the message that she's arrived safely at work and I can rest easy for the next 8 hours before she starts back home.

Our next appointment, where I'll be receiving a shot of FSH, is scheduled for Friday. Then on to the next insemination round with the new donor! We're quite excited about this round and I'm currently feeling very positive about it.
