The passing of Ted Kennedy, a relentless advocate for the rights of LGBT people, families and children
I am saddened by the death of Ted Kennedy, one of our community's best friends in the Senate. Not only did he spearhead legislation on universal health care and education reform, he embraced the fight for LGBT equality decades before other politicians. The community will miss his support.

I am also sadden by the death of Senator Kennedy. He was an advocate for ALL people. LGBT people should all feel a big loss, for losing this advocate.
