HuffPost's Sam Stein points out some bizarre footage provided by former Vice President Dick Cheney.
Speaking at the National Press Club for the Gerald R. Ford Foundation journalism awards, Cheney was asked about recent rulings and legislative action in Iowa and elsewhere that allowed for gay couples to legally wed.
Cheney said that he supports gay marriage as long as it is deemed legal by state and not federal government.
We're remembering February 2007, when Grandpa Cheney gave Wolf Blitzer an icy frightening noncommittal glare when questioned about the his party's reaction to his newest grandchild.

Awesome
I cant stand that man but Im happy that he is willing to stand up for the rights of his daughter. I think many people with negative viewpoints on gay marriage or homosexuality would have a different perspective if they have a close relative or friend who is gay. Unless of course they are horrible people and disown them, then the person who is gay is better off without them anyway.
Homosexuality is not a choice
For those of you claiming homosexuality is a "lifestyle", that is a false and ignorant statement. Homosexuality is not a choice. Just like you don't choose the color of your skin, you cannot choose whom you are sexually attracted to. If you can, sorry, but you are not heterosexual, you are bi-sexual. While science is relatively new to studying homosexuality, studies tend to indicate that its biological.

There is overwhelming scientific evidence that homosexuality is not a choice. Sexual orientation is generally a biological trait that is determined pre-natally, although there is no one certain thing that explains all of the cases. "Nurture" may have some effect, but for the most part it is biological.
