Shocked!!

WE ARE PREGNANT!!!
We took a pregnancy test a little over a week ago and have since then had two blood tests to confirm and watch the progression of all the hormones. Everything looks great so far.
We feel so blessed. We are so shocked that it happened on the first try given our bleak news from the doctor. It was a great Thanksgiving holiday surprise.
Thank you all for your continued well wishes and support.

Along with their other obvious achievements, these moms were first in Madison - population approximately 18,500 - to receive a same-sex marriage license.

This straight mom has no problem talking to her kids about gay couples

Teresa Pelham offers wise guidance to her readers at the Hartford Courant.

She's able to talk to her children about algebra, Dick Cheney, and same-sex couples with equal ease - and writes, "If given the choice of telling my boys about death and terrorism and hatred or talking about two people who love each other, well, that's a no-brainer in my book."

Help: Looking for a Village

Hi,

I've posted this elsewhere on the site, but thought I would try here as well, just to get as much exposure as possible.

I'm not sure if anyone will read this, but if they do, I am new to this site, and am looking for some guidance/advice, and would welcome an considered response.
