Bedroom death after children, is this normal?

My partner and I have not been intimate in a month or so...before that 3 or 4 months and a couple months before that. At this rate we will average only a handful of times a year. Our son is 3 months old now, and its gotten to the point that I would rather hang out with him than do anything else, including sex. I know we love eachother but can our relationship survive if we dont have sex? Is this normal?
