Our life always seems to take the normal twists and turns that can be expected and yesterday was no exception. I am self employed with a holistic practice and as of late the world has really started to tempt me in ways that would lead us away from being able to start a family. I can't figure out what the lesson is...
My practice is successful but not as profitable as we would like yet (South Bend is not the most progressive place!!). My partner is the director of consulting for a large company and does well but is not satisfied (wants to work for or start a non-profit). I was approached by private investors and could "go really big" with the business but it would result in longer hours, dedication to their vision and all the other stuff working 'for' them would bring. The result I fear would be no time for our plans to have a family.
Any suggestions or words of wisdom from those who may have experienced the same thing?
getting back on track
