"Obama for America" shares slideshow of GLBT Pride events

Barack Obama's presidential campaign sent an email to its supporters on Sunday, to thank them for making a significant impact during Pride month.

Obama for America writes: "Volunteers all across the country helped grow this grassroots movement and bring more voices into the political process. You organized your communities to march in Pride parades, registered voters, and shared Barack's message of change by reaching out to friends and neighbors."

Barack Obama has stated - if elected President - he will immediately create a civil union that is equal in federal rights so that all the rights that are conferred by the states are the same for all couples, regardless of sexual orientation.
