The Waiting Begins....

So the insemination process began again for us yesterday...Our first attempt after waiting for a year after miscarrying after my 2 emergency back surgeries last year. We are using the same known donor as last year that is a family friend - he is half Japanese which was very important for my partner as she wanted the baby to have some of her ethnic backround...she is part Japanese. She cannot have the baby, and I have had 3 from a previous marriage so it just made sense for me to carry. It has been a long road after my surgeries and pulmonary embolism and blood clots in both legs following my surgeries to get my body back into shape to be able to attempt this. We are a bit scared since we had the miscarriage last time around, but also very excited at the prospect of what is to come, eventually...
