A MUST read for all gay parents...

I'm nearly complete with my reading of "Families Like Mine: Children of Gay Parents Tell It Like It Is" by Abigail Garner

It has broadened my mind beyond anything I could imagine and has helped me see so many things that I never would have thought of in raising my kids.

In my mind it should be required reading my all gay parents and anyone else involved in the family! I'm buying copies for my ex-wife, her parents, my parents, and asking everyone else in the family to read it!

thanks, appreciate passing along the info. Ill check it out. Being a new mom Im looking for all the help I can get. However, honestly I would be a little afraid of reading it - Im scared to hear(or feel guilty) about the difficult path my son may have ahead.

Congratulations on the baby! I think you will find just the opposite though! This book helped me to find ways to arm my kids with the tools to make their lives easier... YEah - it won't always be easy, I know... but they are going to be armed much differently to fight their battles now!
