Slow down and enjoy

Wow how times flies! I can't believe how fast it seems to be going. Addison will be turning four in July. It's such a good age range. She finds everything to be so over the top fantastic! I'm enjoying the contact high I'm getting from her. Holidays that to me over time have become just another one to cross off the list... lets just get through it! have become magical again!! walking out of the house in a rush to cross the next thing off of my to do list... I get a welcomed stop from her looking up at me saying DADDY!!! LOOK! LOOK! A POTATO BUG!! She slows me down and reminds me to stop and "smell the roses" so to speak. This stage I'm also finding to be a mirror to my good and NOT so good qualities! She's takes note of everything I do and how I react and I see a direct reflection of that in how she interacts in the world. There is so many questions to be answered and ideas to share ... at times I find it to be exhausting!! I don't take for granted the alone time! I know this blog entry is jumping around allot... LOL
