My partner is due in December, and we would like both of our names to be on the baby’s birth certificate. Boulder County District court used to issue a Uniform Parentage Action, after the filing of a Verified Petition for Determination of a Parent Child Relationship for same-sex parents.
Does anyone know if this is still the case, or if other County Courts in Colorado help same-sex parents both be recognized on Birth Certificates
It looks like I will still have to petition for Second- Parent adoption after the baby is born (home study and all) after the baby is born to legally be recognized as a parent.
Thanks!!!

counties
As far as I know, Boulder is the only county that is willing to do anything for gay parents. You will probably still need to jump through hoops, but I would think they will help you. I know that Colorado laws were specifically changed to allow same-sex parents at the request of Boulder County Social Services, so you'll probably find some support there. But wouldn't recommend wasting your time trying other counties.
I just spoke with the Boulder
I just spoke with the Boulder County Court Clerk- She said that these actions are still recognized in Boulder County, but are typically filled by council. They have no forms at the courthouse. I think the forms we need are available from Bradford Publishing, which specializes in legal publishing for the State of Colorado. I'll update with any successes/ roadblocks.
