Donor Network Alliance Taps Joel Brodsky as Equity Partner, COO

Joel Brodsky, 40, has joined the Donor Network Alliance (www.donornetworkalliance.com ) as equity partner and chief operating officer, the company announced today.

Donor Network Alliance (DNA) is an affiliation of leading U.S. egg donor agencies, through which they share their egg donor candidates via an online database. It aims to facilitate intended parents’ search for egg donors and help participating agencies gain greater exposure to a larger number of prospective clients.

“Joel is a great addition to our team and is sure to help us keep the momentum going as we continue to grow awareness of our brand,” said Nancy Block of The Center for Egg Options, Northbrook (www.egg411.com ), one of DNA’s three owners. “In addition to his business savvy, we’ll benefit by his understanding of the intended parent’s position, since he and his wife had first-hand experience with the surrogacy birth of a child.”

Other owners of DNA include ConceiveAbilities (www.conceiveabilities.com ) and Alternative Reproductive Resources (www.arr1.com ), both of Chicago.

Brodsky is an attorney by training who was an equity partner, practicing as a commercial litigator, at Quarles & Brady LLP in Chicago. In 2006, he changed career directions, joining Schulman Professional Search, Ltd., also in Chicago, where he is vice president of partner recruiting.

Brodsky received his law degree in 1995 from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana. He and his family are residents of Deerfield, Ill.
