Why we're together & good for eachother

Ok, so just proof that I have found the corect partner for me, even if we aren't always perfect...

we sleep ODD hours, like really odd hours... anyways, so probably 15 minutes ago, she asked me to make her food, because she's hungry... I said ok, and started to prepare to transition (NOT my strongpoint.). A few minutes later she said, "I'm really hungry, wow...", at this point I become aware that I need to move my a$$, so i put my footrest down, preparing to get up. I get distracted with what I'm doing, and ten minutes pass... I have forgotten about food at all... Finally, she looks over at me, tilts her head to the side, and after about thirty seconds says... "Hey, honey, why'd you put your footrest down???" (in a PERFECTLY honest tone, no less), at which point I realize that I was supposed to be getting her food and totally forgotten so I jump up, and start to appologize, when I realize she has the biggest $h!t-eatin' grin I've ever seen on her face, and I mean she was PROUD of herself!!! We both just busted out laughing and kept giggling at eachother the whole time I was making her food
It's WONDERFUL to have a DP who "gets" that I don't transition well and that my brain doesn't work like everyone else's... And then takes the time to think about how to remind me without "nagging" me, because being nagged just gets me to go SLOWER because I feel overwhelmed and parented, which no one enjoys.
And that took THOUGHT!!!

So, yes, I love my DP!!

update on the food:

So, now I hand her some mac&cheese* (because it is late, and we got the nursery finished, and it's YUMMY!) and she smiles and says "... oh yeah, THAT's why you put your feet down!"

*If you were wondering, while Kraft MAY be the "origional" and "the cheesiest" KROGERS is the BEST when it comes to three-cheese macaroni and cheese, plus it costs about half as much. It's just yummier.
