What i know so far is.....

Good saturday morning to you all. I just put brody down for his mid morning nap after a relaxing warmed bottle, and a nice rocking and shhhhhhing in the glider rocker. I have a few new tips that i want to share for all of you new moms and dads . These are cool and helpful tips other parents have given me over the past 3 and 1/2 months. 1. The book "The Happiest Baby on the Block" is a must read if your baby is fussy, colicy, or just doesnt feel like napping. I can put the baby to sleep in nothing flat whereas it was taking me up to 30 min before. The author explains why babies are so irratable, why the techniques work, and the order in which to do them, and let me tell you they work for me every time. 2.Sleep when your baby sleeps(or try your best). I was a walking zombie until i read that gem. Your not your best with your baby if your dead tired and non-energetic.3. alk to your baby, i talk to brody all the time when im changing him(telling him what were doing), when we play during tummy time(very important to do daily). I read to him every day even though hes too young to fully comprehend exactly what im reading its the rythem, the cadence, the enunciation, that he hears and will eventually put together. You CANNOT spoil a baby in the first few months no matter what a well meaning family memebr of friend tells ya!!!! If they want to be held its because they need that, the mother held them 24/7 in her womb, so why doesnt it make sense that they would still crave and need that now? 4. im not much of a stroller walker, BUT i have found it to be so important for the baby to get out and see the world(on a good day when the weather permits of course) my son just stares at the trees when we stroll under them, and is in heaven when we get outside. So for hime i get my self outside and moving(gee and get some exercise in the process, not such a bad thing right?) ok just a few things ive picked up from family friends, and books, that have helped me alot. Hope they help ya as well. Make it a great day!
