The Hindustan Times is reporting that an Israeli couple has left India with twins (a boy and a girl) who were conceived through surrogacy. The new dads worked with the Centre for Human Reproduction - in Mumbai - which matched them with an Indian woman to donate the eggs, and a separate surrogate.
Infertility specialist Dr. Gautam Allahbadia said though many foreign couples come to India for surrogacy assistance, this was the first case involving a gay couple, and it could become a trend for other gay couples.
