I like the organization - although my 1st Family Week was a disaster because of "r Family Vacations". The week was a mess, but Family Pride/Family Equality Council does great work.

Any progress is a good thing. Family Pride has succeeded and evolved. It's name should keep pace with it's growth.

Peace to all

I'm unclear on the reason for the name change, but - whatever. Keep up the good work!

I think all glbt persons should thank Family Equality Council for its long and hard work for glbt families. Queer families are fragile. Their children are more subject to hurt and prejudice. I wish the council would do more work to help them.

My first interaction with the FEC was this summer, at Family Week. The group's fantastic regardless of the name it uses.

See you in Provincetown (for next year's Week) Helen, Margo, and Celia!

The Family Equality Council is to be commended for its continued focus on recognizing, supporting, and nurturing the family unit. The family is the basis for a strong and vibrant society, regardless of the sexual makeup of that family. All families encounter challenges and GLBTQ families, in particular, are often sorely tested, usually on a daily basis. Keep up the good work -- whatever your name!
