We feel it is our responsibility to take care of our parents. I grew up with the assumption that I am responsible for keeping the "bad people" away from my Moms. I had to make sure word didn't get to the "wrong people" that my Moms were gay. </p> <p>In adulthood, we feel we have to help our parents deal with the adversity of being GLBT. It's our job to make sure our parents don't suffer because of who they are.
