I was so proud of Natalie for not eating the sand the first time out UNTIL.... we were cleaning up and putting things away. I was just about to hand her a sippy cup of water, she shoved a fist full of sand into her mouth! You should have seen me... I acted like she had swallowed a 50 cent piece! Ideas for this beach play date are welcome. A 9:00 to 10:00am start time would be preferred as the rays are not as strong for the little ones. Our daughter is 16 months old and would love to share "sand time" with others that enjoy the beach.
