Book Suggestion. . .

A great book to check out is Choosing Single Motherhood by Mikki Morrisette. . .the final chapter is her interviews with children from Choice Mother homes that were basically conceived via donation. Of course I wouldn't suggest that you buy the book, since you're clearly not a single mother but that part of it is good, if you can find it in your local library. . .

I also recommend reading the part of her book about "the Daddy Question". . .she basically states that adults sometimes overreact to their children finding out they don't have a father/mother in the home (or that they are the product of donation). We as adults, in all of our experience, may sometimes expect that the child will be devastated with "the news" when in fact, it's just a regular part of their life and the questions are asked simply to validate what they see as their reality.

How do kids feel?

I'm wondering how kids feel about the learning they are the child of an egg donation or sperm donation. I'm sure it varies greatly, but hearing stories would be extremely helpful to me. I can't help but wonder what my child is going to feel. How intensely is he/she going to want to know who the donor was?
