I think your story is wonderful.

My partner and I have recently adopted a 1 year old. I thought I would have had a hard time being a gay couple with a child but guess what, putting a baby bump hat on my "less than sure footed" learning to walk toddler was more of a freak show than we were. At the park we heard sly comments and ohs and ahs about bubble wrap kids. Thing is, she was learning to walk for goodness sake and we didnt want here to bump her head so we got her a Thudguard.
