I am an "older" Mom... started trying to conceive at 40 and, after countless inseminations and two miscarriages, we ended up getting an (26 year old) egg donor. We did one IVF cycle with her and an (24 year old) anonymous sperm donor from California Cryobank and got seven viable embryos. They put in three fresh when I conceived my first child. When she was two years old, we got the others out of deep freeze. Three made it through the thaw and I conceived my twins (boy & girl) with that transfer! They are all three beautiful, healthy kids. I had the three year old when I was 44 and the twins when I was 46. My partner is 6 years older than me and we are loving being parents (this is her second time around).

Anyway, I would just like to say that we had a great experience with egg donation and are in touch with the woman who is the donor. She is so great and has a son who is exactly two years older than our three year old.

We are also in touch with several families across the U.S. who have half-sibs on the Daddy-donor side. We are so fortunate! If anyone has questions about egg donor, let me know! -Jo
