Hey Guys – Texas may have a bad rap because of social conservatives, but Dallas and Austin are nice places to visit. I live here – and there’s a great solid community.
Ptown has been a refuge for us since the mid-90’s. We used to bike a lot there, but the traffic has become ridiculous and dangerous – especially now that we have a pre-schooler on the back of the bike.
So, I think we’re going to start walking more in Provincetown – depending on where we stay. In all the years we’ve visited, we haven’t found a place to stay twice.
Our long-term goal is to spend a month or so each summer.
Recharge your batteries in gorgeous Lake Tahoe, August 23-26. You’ll spend 3 nights in luxury resort accomodations with Resort at Squaw Creek as your host.
You can expect:
~ Gourmet dining, all meals included
~ Cocktail reception and welcome event
~ Two days of motivating, enlightening and entertaining workshops and speakers
~ Two nights of exciting entertainers and dancing to the music of Top DJs
~ On the last night, you will take a 2000 vertical foot ride on Squaw Valley’s aerial tram
Marlee Matlin is the featured speaker for the week.
