well i've waited a couple of days to blog again. i felt like i was driving myself insane. its been almost a week since we had our first insemination. one second im convinced that it had to of worked. i mean we did it 6 times!!!
I have so many fears flowing through my head right now.
* Can we afford IVF
* What if I can't carry a child
* Will we be able to provide a child with all that they need
* Can we afford all that a child needs
* Should we raise a child in Georgia
today has just been one of those days where everything just seemed to go badly. we are both under so much stress and worry with everything going on. everyday im waiting to ovulate and everyday im not. this is only our beginning of getting my cycle down pat and already it seems so stressful. getting pregnant is all i think about everyday all day. and for some reason i have this internal fear that it just wont work for me!
Chart your period, pee on ovulation sticks, scour profiles until your eyes burn, take folic acid, buy extra short-term disability insurance - all with a knot in my stomach of excitement and worry....and we are just getting started. I am now onto the most dreaded step for me - finding a doctor to perform the IUI. This prospect is scaring me to death. I am completely "out", but every time I try to pick up the phone to call local doctors, my heart beats into my throat and I hang up before someone can answer. I'm acting like a child!
