Over the past year, I've spoken to so many people on the pros and cons of using sperm from an anonymous donor. I'd really like to keep the conversation open and hear what others, across the country and the world, think about this topic.

My wife and I recently attended a Maternity Ward tour at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. As expected, we were the only same-sex couple that attended the tour, however the leader did refer to everyone who wasn't pregnant as a non-sex-specific "birthing partner." Sure, we received curious glances, but being addressed as a birthing partner, just like all the fathers in the room, was a satisfying acknowledgment.
