Good saturday morning to you all. I just put brody down for his mid morning nap after a relaxing warmed bottle, and a nice rocking and shhhhhhing in the glider rocker. I have a few new tips that i want to share for all of you new moms and dads . These are cool and helpful tips other parents have given me over the past 3 and 1/2 months. 1. The book "The Happiest Baby on the Block" is a must read if your baby is fussy, colicy, or just doesnt feel like napping. I can put the baby to sleep in nothing flat whereas it was taking me up to 30 min before.

It has been quite a while since last I blogged or came to this site. So many allmost child placements, yet i said to myself I have faith, and when the right child comes along I will welcome them, and he did. My son Brody was born on July 31st 2009. I recieved a call on the following monday morning before i was to be at work at 11. I was at the top of the list and I had one hour to decide.(newborns are chosen quickly). I asked the questions your told you should ask, got vauge answers (not alot of info on this baby), and I took a leap of faith and just said YES!!!.

Yep its true!

Good morning everyone! Today is such an exciting day for me. Not only do we finally have change in washington, but my home study was approved yesterday!!!!! my worker said i go into the adoption pool on friday!!!!

Good morning. Last night i went to my 2nd bridges to parenting support group here in san diego. They just started this group, and it happens on the second monday of each month. The moderators were VERY sympathetic, and nice. What i gleamed from last night was for me VERY insightful as to how your picked to adopt a particular child. when your home study is approved here in san diego county adoptions,all your info from your "what will i accept paper, and all the info from your home study is entered into the computer. then its checked to see if there are any matches.

Well today could be the day!

Hey everyone! well my adoption worker called yesterday, and she finished my file and submitted it so she says i should be approved and put into the adoption pool on friday! This is exciting news for me. The frusteration im having is the differing opinions on how long the wait will be. Will it be soon?
