WATCH: Emily’s List supports role models for our young girls
Emily’s List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, believes the 2012 election was a mandate for women’s leadership. Believing the country is ready for a woman president, the group launched the Madam President campaign, a national push to put a woman in the White House.
The Madam President campaign will target 2016 battleground state voters and hold events in Iowa, Nevada, and New Hampshire in the coming months. The effort will also include significant, sustained online advertising to engage nationwide support, as well as other online activity.
